My customer’s mother was an artist before passing away. She always wore beautiful silk clothes that my customer had been saving for years hoping to one day make a quilt from it. When she approached me to make this, she had a very clear vision in her head of what she wanted - a pixelated heart. The gray background quilt is made entirely from her silk clothes and hangs in the daughter’s office. It is 38 inches square. The navy background quilt is a postage stamp mini quilt because each square is only 1 inch. I made two of these for the grandchildren.
