My customer had MULTIPLE bins of special t-shirts that she wanted assembled into memory quilts to celebrate her life. We separated these shirts into categories for 6 unique pieces: a Martha’s Vineyard t-shirt quilt (see the Black Dog border), an elephant quilt (her favorite animal), a quilt dedicated to the West Chop area of Martha’s Vineyard, a quilt dedicated to the yearly Agricultural Fair on Martha’s Vineyard, a quilt made from her favorite shirts, and finally a quilt made from all of the shirts she collected during her world travels. What an exciting and interesting life to document through her quilts.
